  • Before starting work on specific tasks at the foreman or crew level
  • When new tasks are introduced on site that weren't part of the original scope
  • If there is a significant change in conditions, scope, or hazard exposure
  • When conflicting work arises between trades on site
  • Review with employees during tailgate meetings and post at workstations if applicable

  • Before starting work on any new project or site — completed by management or supervisors
  • Must be done prior to any on-site activities — this is a pre-work planning document
  • Re-assess if there is a significant change in scope, conditions, or site hazards
  • Part of the COR-required planning process for every new job

  • Every single day, prior to starting work on site — no exceptions
  • Cover the day's tasks, identified hazards, controls in place, and emergency procedures
  • All crew members present must sign off — this is a COR requirement
  • Takes 5–10 minutes — do it before tools come off the truck
